A China eastern airways plane has had to turn again to Sydney airport after an engine failure which left a hole in its engine.
Flight MU736 was heading from Sydney, Australia to Shanghai, but the pilot stated issues with the engine approximately one hour after setting out.
Passengers, who had to spend the night time in Sydney, advised media they smelled burning in the aircraft.
The Airbus A330 landed properly and there were no reviews of accidents.
pics circulating on social media confirmed a huge hole inside the engine casing.
One passenger informed Australia's Seven information network: "All of a unexpected we heard this noise... it type of smelt like burning".
"i was truly scared. Our group turned into terrified."
ABC news quoted a spokeswoman for China eastern airlines as pronouncing the crew had "found the odd situation of the left engine and determined to go back to Sydney airport right now".
Aviation protection team at the moment are investigating.
